Guess That Game Song!

Some time back, we had a game where you were given a quote and you had to guess which video game it came from and who said it. Google made that game a little too easy though. So here's a new version of the game, one that's much more challenging: Guess That Game Song.

The rules are pretty straight forward. Someone posts an unmarked song from an video game using [mp3][/mp3] tags, and the rest of us must try to guess what game the song came from. Bonus points if you even know the name of the song. After the current song has been correctly guessed or else been given up on, some else may post a new song for people to try to guess. It can either be attached to your post or uploaded somewhere else, as long as people can listen to it without having to download it directly and any revealing information about it has been removed.


I'll start us off with something that's probably easy to recognize.

On the dot, Holk. Here's another fairly easy one for some people.

Twas Star Light Zone from the original Sonic the Hedgehog.

I knew it was Sonic, but not from where. I was never a fan. I like this game, but nobody else does.

I'll be honest, the only song out of all of them I knew was the one from FF9.

I don't know why this game isn't getting more hits. It would be enjoying once some people got into it.

Erm Fire emblem XD i think its fe10, but i don't know the name of the song XD sounds like a battle theme

Correct, it is FE10.

The song is called 'On Glory's Wings'

Here is another one. This is much more challenging.



It was localised to NA, EUR & AUS in 2006.

It's from one of the Pokemon games. Which one, I can't say... Try this one.

I haven't got a clue what that game song is. I do like the beat though.

It's the theme from Final Fantasy VIII's card game, Triple Triad!

That would explain why I didn't know it.
I was never really a fan of Final Fantasy.

I have got no idea what any of them are. But I can swear that I've heard the first one and the last one before.

1 sounds like a fighting game, but I don't know.
