(RPGM 2003) Resources help!?

I wanted to add in some pictures into my game, but whenever I try to, they simply won't come up. I've tried using several different types of pictures (.jpg, .gif, etc.) but they refuse to show up. Is there something I need to do in order to let them show or something?

Make sure they're saved as 256 colour, should solve your problem.

If you're using pngs, you may also ensure that they are not interlaced.
