If you've never heard of Jamendo, you'll enjoy this. It's a site where musicians release their music for free. Free as in free to download, free to share and so on. While inevitably there will be 12 year olds using pirated fruity loops on any such service, Jamendo has 20,000+ artists and over 250,000 tracks. They also make it easy to search down through genre or category and sort by downloads or ratings and so on, making it very easy to quickly find something good.

Going at it alone you'll never be able to make it through even a fraction of what's on there, so I figured we could help each other out and share neat stuff that we've found on there. I've found a lot of great stuff on there over time, so I'll start with a recent one I've found that I keep listening to. Feel free to chip in with other gems you find.

Echoes From the Past by Dj Fab

All instrumental, mostly ambient, and pretty relaxing. It has a strong orchestral flair to it also.

My Media Studies teacher showed us this site, for music to use in films. It's pretty cool, and most of the tracks have really good sound quality.
I'm much too lazy to put an actual signature here.

Tagged as "piano instrumental romantic meditative soothing"  I think that pretty much sums it up.

Beautiful.   I keep listening over and over and over.  I love music that stirs my emotions, and this does.  <3
