Con Quest(Shorthand for Convention quest(pun intended)) Is about a group of cosplayers who work in a shop known as the Dragon Costume Shoppe, however, an evil fashion designer is trying to ruin their business in his attempts to reach some unknown goal(to the heroes at least).

Story:

This is a very basic outline.

"Hello, my name is Matt, and for over six years I have been stuck with these morons I call co-workers. It's a love hate relationship I guess I don't know what I would do without them, but I can't stand them either."
"It's been a long six years at the Dragon Costume Shoppe... the best six years of my life..."
"Sorry I lost my focus there for a minute. It's funny really, we don't even make many costumes, we are mercenaries. Mercenaries whose contracts are sold by our leader, Eyer, to the strangest clients. Only recently, most of our problems have been internal, first Eyer is kidnapped by a rival costume shop, and now our mines have been sending us some strange reports about twisted creatures appearing shortly after they dug through into a strange chamber on the other side of the mine... well, I really need to go pick up Maxamillian and head out to the mines to see whats going on, so I'll end my journal here, for now.

Our story begins with Matt, before coming to the Dragon Costume Shoppe, he was a student at the Academy of Mecha-Arcana, a type of magic that involves machines and is often used for forging magical weapons. After hearing from Eyer about the incident in the Kudu Mines he is sent off to fetch one of his co-workers and investigate.
The mine however, seems to be functioning normally when they arrive, but then the two hear a strange sound... and everything becomes silent, and frightening...
Upon arrival at the chamber they were informed about, there was a massive seal on the floor, blocking what appeared to be a passage, and in that passage, two strange relics... this is when the trouble began for the Dragon Costume Shoppe, and the beginning of their biggest mission yet.

When they arrived back at Huri-Toya, the city where the Dragon Costume Shoppe is located, it is under attack by a powerful, not to mention, badly dressed group of soldiers the only clue they have is a 'Z' emblazoned on their chest, but before the employees of the Dragon Costume Shoppe can take any action, they are confronted by a man by the name of Vouga de Selagon von Solrac, who teleports the heroes to a far away land - where they discover the truth behind the relics, and the identity of Zembalco.

Through many hardships they must endure to not only find the relics, but to find them before Zembalco, but first. They must find a way back to their own world.
Main Characters:

Matthen or "Matt" is one of the core members of the Dragon Costume Shoppe  and often takes up the role of leader when Eyer is unable, or unwilling. He has been trained as a Mecha-Arcana Smith
since his childhood and is one of the most proficient in the country. He joined the shoppe when he was 19, and has become one of the vital members of the company.

"Hi there, it's Max, I love these guys, they mean everything to me. I remember when I first joined, I was 18. Eyer found me passed out in an alleyway, it's a funny story, so I'll save it for another time. I do most of the sewing around the shoppe, and even end up fixing holes in the others' clothes. I have mastered the art of disguise, and can even open up most locks, you know regular thief stuff... I've lived a hard life, and have never had a formal education, but I make do. I have been on my own since I was able to walk it seems. But I'm glad I found these guys six years ago."

During peace-time(when we aren't on a mission that is) I act as a security guard for the shoppe. Before meeting them, I wandered the land in search of the Gaia Soul, a great spear that had spoken to me in a dream, but I feel that the Gaia Soul wants me to help these people, and as the son of a druid, I am bound by Gaia, and it's wish is my will."

I grew up quite far from Hiru-Toya, in a small village whose name has slipped my mind, I hope that one day I can return and meet my Kin."

I don't really remember why I joined the Dragon Costume Shoppe, I think that they just piqued my interest. I was a gypsy assassin before joining six years ago. Whats strange is I don't tend to go near cities much, stuff just stops working when I'm around; Lights, machines, even mechs, but now I live in the city."

Leoj of the Rift, Leoj the Undefeated, Leoj the Wanderer; thousands of names have been given to this man over the years, but only one thing is certain, he has never been defeated, and has mastered all forms of aikido, giving him a limitless amount of combat arts, why he is serving under Solrac, and ultimately, Zambalco, is unknown as of yet to the heroes.

Alegna is one of Solrac's lieutenants and quite probably, his most loyal. She, like David, was born with the
mark of the devil, so one can only imagine what relation these two have, and the limits of her power.

Solrac is the Marquis of the kingdom of Isendow, and in direct command, right after Zembalco, because of his status he has nearly limitless resources, as he has some kind of blood tie to the current emperor. This man causes most of the problems for the Costume Shoppe directly.

Zembalco, known throughout the world as one of the most successful fashion designers
alive, why he started this campaign to some unknown end is still in the dark, but part of this plan
seems to involve putting the Dragon Costume Shoppe out of business, as well as it's owner, D.
Long time rival? Arch-Nemesis? No one knows for sure what relation the two have, but as long
as it involves the Dragon Costume Shoppe, the crew will not stand for it.
