Walking Pattern Script
10/23/2010

Summary
I'm importing character sets from RPG Maker 95 (which are made in an UP, RIGHT, DOWN, and LEFT pattern) into VX (which are DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, and UP pattern).  It's easy to change by moving it around in the paint file, but I was wondering if there was a way to script it so that VX uses the 95 pattern from the png files.  Perhaps for some but not all characters or even all.

Features Desired

    * Change of walking pattern from png file for all characters and events
    * Change of walking pattern from png file for some characters and events
    * Change of walking pattern from the DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, and UP pattern of VX to the UP, RIGHT, DOWN, and LEFT pattern of 95

Mockups
I've look at scripts that change running and idleness, but they don't seem as relevant to this.

How many of these charsets do you have? It would not be a particularly hard script to write, but you'd be pretty much the only person to ever use it so it's not a really compelling request, and if it's only like 100 charsets then it would probably be just as easy for you to do it in paint or another program as it would for a scripter to write it for you.
