This game is 100% complete. There are no bugs that I know of and if you find one, tell me ASAP so I can update the game and fix it...
It's a complete game that takes about 3.5 hours. Pretty humble beginning, but meh. :)Maybe you might try an LLG or speed run?
I may make a prequel if enough people like this game.
Plot Synopsis:
After being captured by a group of three people and forced to the top of an old lighthouse, a cat named Llumni and a dog named McGregor decide to try their luck escaping. As it turns out, the fools who capture them drop an Interspecies Translator, a strange device which allows them to understand not only each other and other species. Along the way they encounter several other people who try to recapture them, a pair of mice named Lettuce and Tomato who have been smuggling other animals out of the lighthouse, a person called an Admin, a bipedal cat going all-out to become as high ranked as Ares the Admin, and a cockatiel bird who looks like a phoenix and the Interspecies Translator cannot interpret. As they attempt to bring down the group whom the Admins are part of, they get interfered with by one who turns.
Setting:
The game takes place in the fictional Grande Islands in 2030, which I do say has a lot of tourist attractions, including the ancient Temple of Moons and Great Seawall, which is now just a common tourist attraction. There's also a forest that nobody goes into these days, claiming that there is a cat roaming around, named the Sierra Forest. The governing authority is in the town of Grandmon, which has passed laws to make the islands more pet-friendly, although all this has done is draw VA near. VA has taken base in three other old buildings on the South Grande Island: the Old Lighthouse, the Tower of Dabir, and the -SPOILER-. You can see the map to get an idea of what the South Grande Island is like. As for technology, since it is 2030, people have phased out of fossil fuels and cars, but in a couple of rarities, like the coalfired power plant, they are still used.
Mostly for transporation they use solar-powered blimps, better known as solar-blimps. VA claims to have invented them, but seeing how Belle claims to have fixed them in the past, chances are that isn't true. Solar-blimps are notable for rough landings, autopilot, and the best way to get from island to island. Robots are used, but most often as slaves in that only the wealthy has access to them. Not that robotic slavery is a bad thing, because robots are not alive. Airplanes are rarely, if ever, flown. And when they are, they are almost always unmanned, as a workaround for the fact that solar-blimps have a very limited weight capacity.
The only thing I haven't covered would be Birdfoot Island. When the great cartographers who discovered the Grande Islands way back in the 1800s by accident, they couldn't come up with a catchy name for the island. They drew it on the map, which is still kept in the Athen Library on Grandmon. They then realized it looked like a bird's foot. So they called it Birdfoot Island, and it has the biggest city in the islands.

Characters:
-Llumni: The cat who you control, hence the name Cattails. He does stuff because he gets captured by VA, and yeah. You've got to stop them! For his personality, well, he's a silent protagonist. I can't really say much about him. However, he is brave and determined because he can't stand to see all the victims of the petnappers to be locked up.
-McGregor: A dog that goes along with Llumni instead of chasing him because thanks to a certain technology, they can understand each other. He acts gruff, agressive, and stuff, mostly because he hates the petnappers, and is quite impatient. He also calls L&T "rats" for misleading him at one point. It wasn't their fault! But he loves to assign blame or something, so I can't be so suprised. Believe me, you shouldn't either.
-Lettuce & Tomato: Mice who run around freeing all the animals. They have a giant cage, so they smuggle VA's captors into it. They act really goofy when they interrupt each other's sentences and seems to be being ruled by somebody. They also seem to know Tenebrae and Ares somehow. But what is their motive? And how do they know these people from VA?!
-VA: A group of people who have been holding animals captive. Why?! Stop them!!

-Tenebrae: A cat who claims to have the ultimate goal of become a chief Admin of VA, but is he really? Has a group of followers called the Bad Kitties who were victims of VA's practices. How could he possibly recruit them to their enemies' side?! How mysterious.
-Daisy: A cockatiel bird who has lost her voice because of cruel & unusual punishment by VA. Hmm... Llumni & McGregor meet her atop the Tower of Dabir during the escape from VA, and her songs, which have earned her the title of Birdie the Bard, will prove helpful throughout your journey, but only if you can restore her voice.
-Belle: Llumni's ex-human, as they were seperated by VA. Do not be kept apart! Llumni, McGregor, and Daisy encounter her after a blimp crash caused in part by the fact none of them know how to fly it. She is both polite and irritable, but you can't ignore the fact that she's the only one who is human amongst your group. That's probably very helpful...
-Reed: Who is Reed and why is he important? On Day 2 of your journey (in-game time) you will find out. Have some patience, sheesh.
