So yeah, it's been a pretty long time since I've posted anything worthwhile on here. About a month ago, I got a new job that is super-demanding. This, piled with meetings everyday, time with the wo-man, and of course, gaming, has kept me away. I figured I'd just pop back in to say a few gaming related things.
1. After a long while playing TF2, I wanted another team-based shooter, and I heard a lot of great things about Quake Wars. I went to the store, and they had it for $3. I was like, "Hell yeah!" I bought it, went to Best Buy and got a new headset, and stopped to get a few Red Bulls for a long gamer's night. After installing, and starting the game, I soon realized something: Quake Wars people are fucking good. It's taking me a while to learn, and the people playing are not those to help newbies, but I'm liking it more and more.
2. Starcraft 2 is awesome. I already finished it.
3. My love for Dragon Age only gets deeper and deeper the more time passes. I'm near the end of my 3rd playthrough, this time as a pretty hot elven mage chick.
4. Finally, not being one to keep underground games to myself, I thought I'd share my latest find with you all. It's a game that's currently only out in Germany, but as many of you on here are pretty crafty, I'll just say that it's not hard to "find" a perfect English copy. The game is called Venetica, and it's an action RPG that just feels nearly perfect. Aside from having stunning visuals, the gameplay is natural, and I became accustomed to it very quickly. I don't know if anyone out there has ever played Summoner 2, (Simply called "Summoner" on the Gamecube,) but Venetica reminds me a lot of the way that game played. I'll post some screens for you to admire, but you have to see it in motion. I whole-heartedly recommend you get this game ASAP, and buy it when it comes out, so that the growing developer continues to make more games.
