A menu system with some graphics is very vague, you know... Buttons? HUD? Or do you mean the "Pokemon Team" menu where you want to show pokemon?

umm i was saying like graphics for each choice so it would be like for items it shows a picture for items and for weapons it shows a picture for weapons

Buttons then. Now, I really doubt your Pokemon game features weapons... unless it features a really awesome new way of catching poor defenseless Pokemon...
Wait, I though Pokemon Essentials already had a menu very similar to Pokemon, why do you want to change it? (Or maybe I'm mistaken, I have not touched that thing since forever...)
