Some questions about rm2k3 patches

Well I've been wondering about a few things...

Are there any patches for rm2k3 that can do the following:

1) Allow the use of images with alpha maps (for pictures, charsets, tilesets and animations)
2) Create maps smaller than the default 20x15 tiles
3) Increase the maximum size of char sprites

what is the purpose of the Battle2 Folder?
