HTC to Sony Ericsson Bluetooth problem

I've recently bought a HTC Tattoo and noticed that I can't send or recieve anything from a Sony Ericsson. I'm quite angry about it since everyone I know have one, except me.
Is this a fixable problem or are they just incompatible with each other.
My HTC has Android.
