I'm an avid user of rm2k3, and been trying the trial of this version and got to say, it looks and feels so much cleaner. One question I was wandering though before I spend money on it. If I make a game, play it for a little bit then save my character. Then open rpg maker up, add more content to the game, can I transfer the save over and start were i left off?

Curious, because I've never finished a project with any of the rpg makers, but though it would be cool if I could make something real simple, let someone play, then just over time and new areas, new items, without that person having to start over from scratch. Similar to how online games add new content to a game without effecting the player.

Yeah, you can do that.

Some custom scripts won't work with old save games, but certainly any eventing, mapping, database work, resource importing, etc... won't ruin a save game.
