Importing custom sounds

well ive tryed inporting my own sounds but when i click play the titles screen comes up which does not have a custom sound but when i click new game nothing comes up it just stays black any tips on how to do it?

One, are your sound effects a compatible file format? (IE, what are they?)
Two, are you setting your sound effects in the database properly?

there some sounds i got from the resources from this site and i put them in the BGM folder  in data and imported them in the BGM folder to but nothing worked

First off, if you're going for SOUND EFFECTS, you don't put them in the music folder, you'd put them in the sound folder. All you really need to do is just click the import button, select the category you want to put them in, and find the sound file on your computer. You don't need to mess with the data folder or directly copy and paste anything.

no not sound effects, battle music town music and such. I've tryed just importing them to the BGM and playing but the game just goes black.   :-\
