Map piece removed from a event

Ok so the script i would like is when i walk over a event square the map piece that was there goes away.

so i want this to change to




this by standing on this




But i only want this to happen when i acctivate a variable so when the game firsts starts its there but only when i accept a quest and step on it it changes.

If any one could help i would be very greatful

What is the main goal for that piece of land to change into water? To prevent the character from entering that area?

yes ive done a animation so a earthquake hits and i want that piece of land to turn to water while the animation is going

You'd have to rip several tiles and port them to a character sheet and then use the character sheet as event graphics. When your earthquake occurs, then turn on a switch and turn the event graphics off to reveal the map below. Normally, you can just set event graphics as pieces of the map, but you're not allowed to use any tiles from the autotiles. (This is why you have to manually rip it.)
