Alright, for those who don't know, before I made a topic about Attack and Defense. Well....I'm having issues now with trying to balance it. For example, let's look at this.

Monster with 1 Defense and taking 500% extra damage from physicals vs character with 1116 ATK (no weapons equipped, so no elements added, and level 99) = 700 damage.

Why only 700 damage? Makes no sense to me. Now....if I had an element to it (100% normal damage), and equipping best weapon (bringing ATK to 1616) = 4500-6000 damage. How exactly does that work out at all? It's only 500 less attack, yet it does like that? I know the formula is like 1/2 Attack - 1/4 Defense = Damage, but for some reason, it doesn't work the way I wanted it to. It also doesn't work this way when monsters attack the player. For instance, I had a 800 ATK monster attack a character with 10 DEF and only do 400 damage....any way to fix this up, as I'd like to make the physical attacks a bit more...you know....deadlier so that the game's more balanced? As it is right now, physical attacks mean pretty much nothing for the monsters (and works very fine for the main party) x_x
