I am new to this website.
In fact, I am new to RM2k3 itself.
I am making my first game and I cant seem to get the title screen working. You see, whenever I try to play my game with the title screen, it has an error which says "Unsupported PNG image"
I don't know what is wrong. It is in PNG format and is 320x240px.
Here is a copy of the image if it helps:

Okay, I'm new. I dont even know how to put in an image.
Just please help me.

First time using forums also? =o

BBCode is a near-universal way to do extra things in forum posts than just post regular text.

To post images, you simply put [ img ] and [ /img ] (without the spaces) around the URL to your image file.

You can use a site like Imageshack or imgur to host your image :)

As for the PNG issue, I'm guessing maybe your PNG image might have an unsupported bitdepth or colour palette, or pehaps uses alpha transparency. If you upload and post your image though, we can help you with that :)

And welcome to RMRK :zwink:

Yeah your problem is it's RGB/8 you want it in Indexed colour which only has 256 colours which 2k3 can deal with and the colour info is in the picture RGB requires 2k3 to make the colours its self which it can't do (and 2k3 dosn't support layered graphics). I also believe it can't use interlaced files. A further bit of useful info is that the very first colour in the colour table is transparency. Unless of course you use the file importation which lets you pick it, my guess is it rearranges the colour table for you.

hope that makes sence and is helpful

Oh and here try this one
