My Mobs won't die... sort of.

So it's really wierd. When I get in to an encounter I can kill the enemies but the dead ones still attack me. I can't attack them once I kill them because the option is gone. So I know that somewhere in the game they know they are dead. But the pesky lil buggers don't know that they're dead.

The only script I have that alters battles at all is: modern algebra's Damage Popup script http://rmrk.net/index.php/topic,34323.0.html

hmm. I think there's a script fix for this... I vaguely remember someone talking about something similar to this. It's part of Yanfly's script fixes. Give me a moment and I'll look it up.

However, I don't think it'll fix this? I'm not certain what your conditions are for it to occur. This script fixes the return of dead enemies if they have a state applied to them when death occurs. I'm not sure if you had states on that enemy or not. This is worth a try at least.

Are you sure there's no, like, invisible enemies, you know, enemies with no sprites?

Try deleting the troop, then remaking it, that's my suggestion.

I tried both suggestions and neither worked. So then I removed each script one at a time hoping to find the problem. After removing them all nothing had changed. I'm completely lost here.

I've had this happen if the enemies regenerate health after dying. If you have some event that regenerates monster health, that might be a good place to look.

Yeah, nothing regenerating. My game is still in the very early testing stages. I have some scripts in there but have deleted most of the items and mobs that come in there default. It's the freaking Slimes that keep not dying.
