Hey guys.

Right well I'm tired of this shitty integrated 128mb POS I'm currently using, so I've decided to finally upgrade. Unfortunately, the PSU that came with our PC is also a POS, supplying only 300W.

My PC is this: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01077676&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=3660701

I'm looking at getting a second-hand 7900 GTX (I know, I'm cheap -.-) and am trying to find the cheapest PSU I possibly can that runs the card fine.

Atm, I'm looking at this one here: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Computers/Components/Cases-power-supplies/Power-supplies/auction-262235375.htm

The 7900GTX needs a 6-pin PCI-E cable-thingo. :o

Sorry, I don't really know much about it, except for the random Googling I've been doing all day :P

This be the card I'm looking at: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Computers/Components/Video-cards/PCIExpress/auction-261431016.htm

So basically I'm asking, is that PSU alright for it? If not, could you link me to one that
a) Will work for it
b) Is cheap (Under $80 NZD)
and
c) Is from either: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Computers/Components/Cases-power-supplies/Power-supplies/mcat-0002-0359-0208-4241-.htm or http://www.pp.co.nz/PowerSupplyUnits.php

Thanks a ton to anyone who is willing to help.

You're wasting your time on a 7900GTX. Why not just get a cheaper, quieter, lower power and more advanced current generation card?

Try an ATI Radeon 4670; it's the most powerful card available right now that is powered by the PCI-E slot only, no external connector needed. You'll be able to run all modern games on med-high settings.
