fear me...
I have the volumes for the SFX labeled as the loudest they can be, the music as some of the softest (becuase I wasn't sure if it was something wrong with my speakers, or perhaps the music was over-playing the sounds), and no matter what I try, the SFX wont play (even the ones triggered via events, which proves that it must be a scripting error)!

I haven't edited any scripts, I haven't done ANYTHING except for adding some locations and events (none of which turn off SFX)

So, my question is, what scripts do I have to edit to fix this problem?

----------
Note: I wasn't sure if it was proper to post this in troubleshooting or scripting, so I simply put it into the category I deemed more relavant.

Ok, DON'T EXPECT HELP FROM ME~! I will perhaps rant a bit, but don't expect me to do graphics for you, even if I say I will... I won't.

Try re-installing. That's the only solution I know of, and I've heard it works wonders. :o

Dammit all...

I really didn't want to hear that...

I'll go try it out, and will edit this post with the results...

EDIT: Well, don't I feel like a class-A Jackass? I ended up not reinstalling... I figured I would have to find what happened... And it turns out, it wasn't a script problem... I had accidently changed that check box in the in-game menu from [X] (insert about 14 or 15 random japanese characters here) BGS (four more characters in japansese) to [ ] (insert about 14 or 15 random japanese characters here) BGS (four more characters in japansese)

Now what that seems to mean (because, again, I don't speak a lick of japanese except for a few numbers) that BackGround Sound effects were turned off... Again, feelin' like a jackass...  ::)

anyways, alls good now...
