I am a new user of rpg maker 2003 and I'm pretty pleased with how I'm getting the hang of it but I have a problem every time I want a message displayed on screen where not all of message appears, some is off the edge of the screen. Let me put it into context:

Here is the message I want displayed at the very start of my game: Professor Armand said he had a task for me, I best go see him. He's probably in the library buried in his books.

But when the message appears what you can see is this:

Professor Armand said he had a task for me, I best
probably in the library buried in his books.

Its not the screen's fault, I can see the edge of the message box. Can someone tell me why this is happening and how to fix it please?

press enter after best.

You have to do it manually. There is extra room in the box in case you are or aren't using faces among other things, but it won't wrap it automatically. You need to put the words that you want on a line on that line. No other option sorry.

OK, thank-you. Another thing I meant to mention is that it does this regardless of whether I put a face in the message

yeah, the box is wider than it needs to be even without a faceset. The solution is still the same though; there's no way around it.

Cheers, Algebra. It makes sense now
