Unexpected File Format! Need help still!!!

Whenever I try and load up my project it says Unexpected File Format! What should i do.

It won't let me load up the project, It'll give me an error message saying unexpected file format, I sure hope it didn't just stop working...

OK, is it zipped, rar, or compressed game data?

It's just game file that has the to little cogs next to it, it's just game file i load everytime i edit it. Her this is whats happening.

It just wont load at all...

hmm mabey your rpg VX got corupt, reinstall like a repair

Edit: Didn't work... Does it mean the file is corrupt and I can never use it again?

Where are the other files for the VX project?

just noticed that you replied today, it must not have notified me of a new post in the topic cause you made an edit to your old post.

If you still need that project file, maybe you can try adding in the missing files from another project.

Also in my previous post, i didn't know as much as I do now.

This happens to me a lot too. I don't know what causes it, but, I make a new project, then slowly move over the script, graphic and audio files from my old one to the new one. It's a temporary fix, but, it works.

You should keep a backup of the project as well.
