    • Roph, you kill me in hardware knowledge so I'm asking if you could give me a hand, and indirectly, give my parents a hand.

    Mom needs a new computer because hers is a 7 year old pile of shit that takes 15 minutes to start up and she can't get any editing work done for her work-at-home-sidejob thing with that pile of trash.

    She just got $300 from someone from selling her homemades and I'm wondering if you could help me put together a computer for that price or less that could run Photoshop and Illustrator CS4 properly.

    I can put the thing together and we have a case/dvd drives/etc... just need the hardware, what do you think?
