my first battlers

hello im new to make battlers but i gave it a shot.

here my first person battler



its a battler of an swordsman it took me 2 hours to draw and colour

now heres my first monster battler




its an evil brain it doesnt look to good because i made it a different way then i made the swordsman
plz tell me how i can get better and improve these battlers

As your first battlers, these are pretty good!

First, did you draw this on paper, scan it in, and color it in photoshop?
the only major problem, i htink i see is the chest plate, which looks a little to round? XD

as for the brain, it needs more shading where the little groves should be
if you make the groves thinner, and in a pink colour, and more random, it wold also look better!
