I'm new here. I used to write and want to get back into it and so I thought that I might do that here. Particularly I've been thinking about writing a story for a game and am finding this somewhat difficult. Maybe i'm over thinking it but it seems to me that writing a story for a game is different from say writing a short story in that you have to write around a player and you are tied to particular visuals. Anyways I'll try to give well thought out opinions when i give them, and hope to contribute positively in my stay.

Welcome to RMRK, the coolest arcade in town. You think you got the skills to get the high score? You better have a lot of quarters. :blizj:

Writing for an RMXP game is more difficult than writing for a story because you are limited. You can say "the wind blew through her hair as the storm approached" but can you sprite the girl with flapping hair or a storm actually approaching? You have to either limit your writing or be a good game designer who can overcome said limits.

That said, welcome to RMRK, where we'll be pushing you to your limits.  :)
