Hello i am having some trouble with my game i am running my game as a one story style and it's event after event. My friend who is testing the game for me while i make it said it's alright so far but it need's something that tell's you were you are at in the game. I've looked around for a script but haven't found one that suits me what i am asking for is two thing's a script that is a diary that will boot up from loading a saved game and tell you what you did recently in the storyline to keep you up to date or/and a script that is loaded from the menu were if you go into the status screen go on the main character there is a bit called thoughts or something. After pressing that a message will pop up to help you remember what you need to do.
example: The doctor said i need to find a herb in the forest if i want to cure Bill.
I would script them myself but so far i have failed to find a site/book that teaches me how to script so I'm asking you brilliant people to do it for me.  :)

If not, I can probably write something like what you want.
