Ponyo! or Disney is INSANE

Yet another way Disney can put their name on something technically not thiers.

A great studio gibli movie placed in America again, but the world has already seen this movie.
IT's called SUBS, and american and japan are against it ppl. =(

But yeah I wonder when Disney will make a serious and original movie/series like Pirates of the Carribien.

I know there was going to be a Gargyoles live Action, but they scratched it and placed it in a shelf.

really Disney would make more money if they do some ideas already in trend? 80's shows being made to moives?

Really I'm just sick of Disney not living up to their name lately this year.

I don't know what you're talking about. I'm in here because Ponyo was in the title and Miyazaki is one of my favorite illustrators/animators, and I only saw the Japanese version of Ponyo with subtitles because the subs are way more accurate than the dubs, though I may see the American version be Liam Neeson is voice acting. Oh, and I don't like Disney that much.

I'm also having trouble trying to get what you are saying. I LOVE Hayao Miyazaki's work, but he works for owns Studio Ghibli. Disney only buys the rights to localize and dub it for the sale outside Japan.

Wat i trying to say is that Disney isn't really doing anything lately. I mean that they have chances to do great things but nothing is coming out.

Universal opened a new ride I think and released some movies this year.

Disney on the other hand i havent really seen anything new except Race to Witch Mountain.

I love Miyazaki's work, but Disney has been in turmiol lately even after the monorail crash and the ride change of the Rock n' roll rollercoaster switch to Hanna Montana.

This is no different than Funimation or 4Kids xD buying the rights to dub it. Just because it's Disney doing it doesn't make it "BAKKA GAIJIN CREDIT STEALING DISNEY"
And if you're whining about Disney not making any new crap, does it matter? They stopped making good movies in the early nineties.

The thing about Disney is that they don't HAVE TO make anything new due to the success of Hannah Montana and the Jonas Lollers. Having saying this, I think they have done a great job dubbing Studio Ghibli movies and I can't wait to see Ponyo's english dub.

Hahaha yeah Disney stopped making good stuff as well as other stations too.

No one is really all that great. Im just hoping for the best.
