You guys are dumb. DotA is awesome.

Anyway, I'd like to play sometime; I haven't played DotA for ages though - probably a lot of changes.

Also, dude. SO many things changed. Depending on when you last played, lots of new heroes were added. The taverns are set up differently, too. There's the "Strength" section, "Agility" section, and "Intelligence" section. Then it's split up into Scourge, Sentinel, and Neutral heroes. Basically 9 taverns.

Then, the item system is much different. It's very blech if you're not used to it, but it's obviously superior and allows room for more items.

we might play some dota or some straight RTS based on who we have available to play.

I haven't played dota ages, so I'll probably suck until I get some practice.  I'm still pretty good in the RTS mode though, did some of that last night.

I want to get a game together for Friday afternoon, how's that work for you people?  I would today or tomorrow, but today I have to work on our Source Mod for class a bit, and tomorrow I have the class.

I'll probably play. I have a copy of it, kind of portable but it should be patched up to Frozen Throne. I can upload it to anyone who doesn't have it. Works flawlessly, has mods already in it, but it retains the original directory structure and stuff.

All you need for Warcraft 3 LAN is Hamachi version 1.0.1.1 and tweaking it to top priority in network configuration. Me and Josh used to play this a lot and it took a while to get it going but it's easier for people who don't know how to do those steps Moo linked to. Just saying~~ Also I might join in on playing, Friday works excellently for me. Maybe.

NAM, have you heard of Heroes of Newerth? It's like a modern updated DoTA clone. I have a spare beta key if you're interested, I'm more than willing to give it to you. It has a lot of official servers to choose from and it's really good me and chewey play it too.
