OK.  This is weird.  I've been working on a project for awhile and now I'm having movement issues when i play test the game.  Well basically what is happening is for whatever reason its like the up arrow on the keyboard is always being held down.  It happens even in the start up menu.  But in the menu if i hit the up arrow nothing happens but if i hit the down arrow i can get to start new game and then i hit enter and it starts.  well after it starts the map up the character is constantly moving up and if i hit right or left it doesn't do anything but if i hold the down arrow the character starts moving left non stop till it hits something and cant move anymore.  I don't know what the heck is going on.  But ive tried uninstalling/reinstalling the rpgmakervx and the rtp for it. and Ive uninstalled and then deleted all of the files from the program files and even went as far as deleting everything for the Rpgmakevx and Enterbrain in the registry and then reinstalled it.  but every time i start it back up it does the same thing. Ive also tried to just create a completely new project and basicly add the player starting spot and just a little island on the ocean and it does the same thing.  i dunno what is wrong but if any one has any ideas i would really appreciate it.  Thanks

oh and i forgot to say that this problems started happening awhile ago and since it started i have re-formated my hard drive and had to reinstall Win XP.  Thanks

OK.  Somehow i just figured it out for myself...   what it was is i had a controller plugged in at one point and it was over riding the controls for the game.  well i went into my device manager and disabled the HID (human interface device) and everything started working the way it was supposed to again....  sorry for the trouble.
