You get teleported to a room and an event starts...but i can't seem to get it to stop repeating its self...i have tried everything i could think of. Any ideas or things i could try would be just great.

I don't use 2k, so I don't know for sure how the events work, but I imagine you can use a switch or self-switch of some kind to turn it off like in all the other makers.

Ok, here's a basic cutscene - written by the greatest author of all time: yours truly (And, to an extent, is probably what your event command looks like).

Spoiler for Basic Scene:

There you have a basic talking scene between three heroes. One problem, though, they'll keep saying that over and over again! Oh no, what should we do!? THIS.

Spoiler for One Step Closer:

There it is, a switch operation that turns that particular cutscene into a bottomless abyss of nothingness (it will make the scene go away).

Final step, make a new event page with that pretty little button next to the event's name. Under preconditions, select the switch you just turned on previously, and leave the rest of the event blank, as such:

Spoiler for That'll make that pesky scene go away!:

Don't mind the rocket car; my original two ovals looked like a car, so I went with it.

Well, there it is: an event that goes away.
