Why Aren't Sent Messages Saved in the Outbox?

The forum saves all the PM's you get in the inbox, but the outbox is always empty, even if you just sent something an hour ago.

Why?

You have to select whether you want to save a copy of it or not. You can select an option in your profile under Personal Message Options so that all sent messages are saved to your outbox by default, or just manually check to save the message each time you send one.
