I had the same problem on a Hentai Forum, I used a naked Anime chick as my Avatar and for the first week there every second guy was hitting on me, lol.

I thought it would be less appropriate to use a male pic Av on a forum were you discuss nothin' but girls, but it fixed the problem... 

Considering I've been here well over a year and only 2 people didn't know I'm a guy I figure thats kind of good. Also I'm guessing you're new because you seem like you don't know about Ass Duckies Press.
