[Resolved] Creating An Worldmap!

Hello, I Have a program as to where, It auto re-sizes my character for Overworld view, and the script comes with a vehicle/boat/airship and you are able to use several functions, but unlike most overworld views, and al lthat stuff, you use an image file with 0 lag, so there for, I need a world map made, the average world map used with this program is 2000 x 2000 so I will need the map about 4000 x 4000, I know it seems a bit big, but that's so all the towns can fit in it, this program also lets me implant movable pictures, and town/section images, into the map itself, and have region area battles, it is a very old script I stumbled upon if anyone else wishes to have it ask and I will post with credit, I never seen it on this site. A++ script the maker is a genius so all the towns/forests, i can put in from separate image files, if you wish to make those, it will allow movable images as well. and I will post an few examples, including an movable one. an example of the default/demo map and an example of the map i would like one similar to. I have not gotten all the towns finished yet, however I do not really need to say what towns go where, as all I need for those is 3rd party images, that is what I like about this program, just X,Y,Z and warp points, and wala ^^... It would be a few continents, mountains, snow/desert/grass type lands, I would be more then happy once again to post this script as it is very old, but still works on the latest rmxp. I tested it, and shocked i never seen it used, with all the customizations possible on it. Hope someone can do this, I think it will be a fun game when its done, with all the unique stuff it has. if you wish for this addon I came across post it here and I will open a topic with it, with proper credits ofc.

Wait-wha? But don't you have a program for that as you said? I don't know of any script or program that does that and looking at that zoom out, it'll take hours or even a day to finish, which, no one would sit to do so for free. and I never knew there was a ice-sea water autotile.

nonono all i need is the overworld map created, i can do all the fills in with edits and snippets of locations, I just need the basic map/landscape created, I have the program that does that, its actually 2 scripts, and very powerful, that's why I am shocked no one is using it, it is a few years old, but it works flawless on the latest rmxp, which is why I said if anyone wants I can post that program.


but all I need is the worldmap image file created, everything else for it is finished. i was showing examples of the images used in the program I am using. so people get a better idea of what the program does that I am talking about.




and the thing that is an issue is, the worldmap has to be a jpg file, so that is what I can not do, don't have the software or know how to make a good overworld map with it being jpg picture file ^^

So you're asking for someone to create a jpg image of your world map, which you'll use with this program?  It kinda sounds like you're asking someone to create the world map for you in RMXP.

2000x2000 and 4000x4000 - is that tiles, or pixels?

If no-one's using that script, there's probably a reason for it.  I wonder how much lag there is when you have a decent-sized map, with a decent number of events on it...

nah i found a program i can use to make it my self, i just wanted the blank layout and i created all the content to place on it with x,y,z cords. but i found a program called Dundjinni nice program ^^


I am an inpatient person, while i ask for something, I go out and try an find a way to do it my self, if i find a way before i get an answer, then I go ahead and do it my self ^^
