Well, forgive me if this was already posted somewhere... but from what I've been able to tell from searching, this is a first.
Also, sorry for making my first post here a question, too! But still, I Do hope someone can offer a suggestion.
I really, really prefer RPG Maker XP, largely for all the things it's able to do compared to previous RPG Makers. ... However, its graphics, for me, feel.. kind of cold. I guess I'm a child of RPG Maker 2000, and all my sprite efforts there, and so forth, are for it. Generally I just prefer the 'feel' of RPG Maker 2000's sprite and tileset style. Thus, my question...
Can anyone suggest a way of persuading RPG Maker XP to use RPG Maker 2000's graphics settings? That is, it's tile sizes and so forth? I don't mind if it uses RPG Maker XP's increased resolution - indeed, it'd probably make the RPG Maker 2000 graphics look better, and be able to display more at once. But as is, I just can't see my way to making the old RPG Maker 2000 graphics work with RPG Maker XP, without a huge modification effort that'll very likely look rather bad in the end, too, as it'd mean shoe-horning the old graphics into the new RPG Maker's capabilities, rather than getting the new to accept the old.
Failing that, some advice on the most elegant way of modifying the RM2k graphics to work in RMXP would be greatly appreciated.
... 'Hope that made sense >.> Thanks in advance, or so!
