Oooooooh, I'm in awe again. Really wonderful piece, especially the details of the girl.

The only thing I will nitpick is that the bear's face looks a bit off somehow. Not sure exactly how though.

The bear is looking towards the viewer, while everyone else was looking off somewhere to the right (frozen lake I guess)

but still AMAZING WORK

I'm aware which way the bear is looking, thanks. Something about it just doesn't feel quite right, is all I'm saying.

Bear's face is looking at the viewer, but the head's perspective overall is still looking at the frozen lake. That's what's off a bit. Either that, or the bear's face is too long. lol, I like it though :)

Your work is absolutely amazing. Can I ask how you got started? Any helpful sites or tutorials?

I recently bought a tablet, but still rather nub with it.
I'm much too lazy to put an actual signature here.

Thanks, Jonesy.

To be honest, I don't look at a lot of tutorials because I prefer to find my own solutions to things.  As far as sites, I use them mostly for inspiration rather than for helping me improve technically.

I think the biggest help for me when starting out was having other people to learn from.  I took a lot of art classes when I was younger and eventually did 3 years of art in college (which I just graduated from =D).

Getting better in drawing and painting is mostly hard work.  I spend a lot of time comparing my art to other artists' works and just sitting down and figuring things out.  Getting comments and critiques from other people helps tremendously.

There really is no secret other than what I've already told you.  I hope that helps a little.

I don't see why you're not doing concept art for big time publishers already.

Actually, I get paid to draw now.

I'm working as a concept artist for a studio called Dark Matter Entertainment in Toronto, Canada.

The work I post here is personal art that I do in my spare time.

I was actually going to make a post thanking you guys for the support ever since I joined here but somehow I forgot, so here it is now, haha.

Thanks guys!!!
