Help with Troops event tabs

I have a boss troop set up.

At first contains one character.  But she calls for backups during the battle.

Tab 1 is conditioned on HP 75% or lower - calls 3 thugs
Tab 2 is conditioned on HP 50% or lower - calls 3 more thugs

What's happening is that the player can (if they use cheats) make the enemy's HP drop below 50% within one round.  When that happens, she calls for backup when her HP drops below 75% and again when it drops below 50%.

Span is set to Battle.  Would changing it to Turn make a difference?  From the description, I'm unsure - both tab conditions would still be met within the same turn, just as both conditions are met within the same battle.

What I'd like to happen is for her to only call one group on each turn - if she drops below 50% in the first turn, she'll call the first group, then in the next turn she'll immediately call the second group.  OR to make her wait until the turn is over (everyone has had their go) and then call both groups at once.  I think this would be a bit harder though...

Okay shaz, I just did some battle testing and I've found that it doesn't make a difference whether you select battle, turn or movement. Even if you have a combination of the three they all initiate as soon as the condition is met.

So yes, it the character did fall below 50% on the first turn, assuming that they were at least 76% HP when the battle started, then both groups would appear simultaneously. But on that note, I found that if I entered let's say the boss battle with my characters HP already below 75%, then the first group of thugs would appear straight away at the start of the battle.

Maybe a way to try and avoid this would be (a) to make your character start the battle at full health. (b) make sure that the boss is unlikely to knock your health below 50% with one hit.

It could be more like an in game clue to the player that if their character looses over half their health in one hit from the boss their level obviously isn't high enough.

Hope this helps.  ;)

thanks.  It sounds like there's not a way around it unless I get into some scripting.  For the time being, we'll just explain to players that it happens twice in one round because the boss takes a bad hit.
