    • Greetings.
    I'm new here, and I was looking over the net about a failure in RPGXP. The thing is, MIDI files won't play. Those were played normally, i tried reinstalling codecs, checking hardware drivers, reinstalling the entire suite and none of those ways didn't help me. Anyone here knows where in RPGXP can I check the audio configuration or how can I do to solve this issue?

    Hmmm... guess it's not working...
    Anyway, I did some research over this and other forums, and basically found the same problem: SW Wave Syntethizer Vol. muted or at low volume(some others had problems with the DirectSound driver). Mine is different, so i insist on this post... MIDI files are played normally in the PC, but not in RPG Maker... I checked if I had disabled BGM/ME playback, but it's activated. Nor the game or Sound Test playbacks MIDI files, so I was wondering if there's such an option that enables/disables sound playback by system settings (as I've seen that seems to be my issue). I ask again, if someone knows how to change audio options for RPG Maker XP
