Any message system will do. ccoa's UMS is very popular. Seasons In the Abyss has one in the database, and Dubealex has his AMS: http://www.creationasylum.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=590

Let me start by saying, I'm waaaaay new to all of this.

That being said, I tried to use Dubealex's AMS script, but when I tested it, I got: "??? Syntax Error ???"

Am I supposed to just add the new script at the bottom or replace an existing script with the new one?

Zylos

For Dubealex's AMS, you insert the script below all of the default scripts but above the "Main" at the very bottom.
The same is true for almost every single script you'll find out there.

For inserting faces with this script, I believe all you have to do is type \f["picture name here"].

Okay. I'm officially an idiot, so all of you can feel free to laugh about this, but I'm still having trouble.

Where do I put the command when I create the event? I'm working on an intro right now, and I have it set to auto-run and everything is fine, until I try to add the face and the name. Do I put it in the beginning of the message box? Or do I add the script to the event? I'm so confused.

EDIT: Okay, nevermind. I figured it out. A bunch of trial and errors. I wasn't typing the command in right.

Zylos

No no, you put the script in the script editor where I told you. All you have to do to add the face is type in \f["face file name"] at the beginning of the message.

Edit: Ah, good. :3
