Hey, newby here.

Well, I created a demo of my game so far, but it's in full screen which is eye-killing, it needs to be in windowed mode, and when I create the game disk it creates a crapload of files with ALL the tiles and everything. All I want is the EXE, but I can't find it >< (Sorry if this is stupid)

Also I'd like to know how to change the game logo for the exe and the little logo at the top left of the window when playing.

Sorry if these have been asked before, I really need help though ><

I'm not sure if you can change it from being fullscreen, but tell whoever you're showing the game to to download Rpgmaker & play the game through test mode (They'll probably need the RTP anyway).

Sadly, you need that crapload of files if you want your game to play. Oh, and most people have shifted from using the gamedisk button to just compressing all the files and uploading them to megaupload or sendspace.

I'm sure there's a way to do that (At least there is with XP and VX), but I don't know how. I'll get back to you on that one.

Irock

alt + enter will put the game in windowed mode.

Well I've played other RPG maker games and they're in windowed mode and didn't need the program to play. :< Hmm, I dunno.

Will the game be okay if I put all those character folders and such in another folder so the user doesn't have to sift through it all to get to the game? (And possibly bundle rpg maker with it?)

That's weird, all rm2k3 games play full screen when they select rpg_rt.exe

the exe is located in your project folder. A way to avoid bloated size is to copy all the files you used in game, removed every trace of RTP from the database and then do the following..

copy harmony.dll to your project folder/game folder.
then on rpg_rt notepad thingy you have to put in this.

[RPG_RT]
MapEditMode=2
MapEditZoom=0
GameTitle=whateveritis
FullPackageFlag=1
