I figure that the project that Arrow and I were doing is now defunct. His computer did something and all the hard work that he did was lost, but I still have the songs that I was in the process of writing for it. Rather than have them go to waste, I'm going to post some of my favorites here for you to do what you will with. The game was an 8-bit Megaman title with all new stages, robot masters, and weapons. I'll also put the source midis below, since I like the way they sound also.

This was the theme for the "Thrash Man" stage. It was meant to give the feeling of frantic close-quarters combat.

This was the start of a water-themed stage. I never got around to finishing it, but it's pretty complete as is.

This is the stage select. I tried to keep the "short but sweet" theme that the rest of the series' stage select themes held.

This is the theme for the infamous "teleporter boss rush" Skull Castle stage that is featured in every Megaman game. They're all very short, since you're only in the actual stage for small periods of time.

Holk, dude, it's not defunct. I still have all of the project files, I saved them, every last one. I'm sorry you've gotta wait, but I can't reregister game maker yet, that's the only issue. I have -no- money until August, things are tight at home, but when August does come around I will register game maker ASAP.

I wish I'd been able to correct you before you released the music, you were really set on keep things secret. ;x

Oh. It's all good. I still have others, and if I would've known that we were still going to make the game, I would've been working on them more often. I'm glad that you still have all that stuff, because it would be a huge shame if all of the awesome things you were doing were lost.

Yes. I lost a lot of things, but I made sure to save at least that much, along with the bulk of my pixel art and my own compositions. I saved a few key GM tutorials, too. Everything else though, like my listening collection and stuff was gone. : )
