[WIP] First attempt at tree

I havent been on RMXP for quite a while. And to restart my resource making... stuff, I decided to make a tree. But I'm not sure how to shade it...
So I made two attempts.

Its a good start, but both look very unnatural.

I would first suggest taking a look at how the RTP trees are shaded, as you can see yours look like a metallic sort of shading. You need to define the leaves on it.

I'm not sure what else to give you, but keep trying. ^^

PS: RMRK does not have the image zoom feature. :\

The stump is in a different style than the RTP, if that's what you were going for. BUT. It looks very good. Your tree's greenery could possibly benefit from some slightly desaturated colors.

I'd vote right side over left, left side's branches or whatever you wanna call em look too fake
