A few months ago, Square-Enix put in a bid for a friendly takeover of Tecmo. Tecmo subsequently refused their offer, but it got me thinking about what might have been.
-A Ninja Gaiden RPG
-A new Rygar game
-Square making a fighter, now owning the Dead or Alive name
Yeah. Tecmo really isn't as great a company as it was back in the NES days. Maybe it was for the best that Tecmo passed.
PS. While looking at the Tecmo site, I noticed this:
It's a 3D mousepad, where your wrist is cushioned between the character's breasts. Sad, really. People who buy things like this make the whole gaming community look like twits.
