Vocaloid
The Game

Overview
After some people in the Screenshot Thread gave some encouragement to make this game, I decided to do it. It will be a social/puzzle game with no battles. Instead, you will have to observe people and use your brain.

Storyline
After receiving a strange pendant from a friend, Hatsune Miku and the other vocaloids were teleported to an unknown island. Now they must find their way back.
Spoiler for:
There isn't a lot I can say about the story since this game will focus more on interesting characters rather than a deep storyline.

Characters

Hatsune Miku
The most famous of the Vocaloids. She is playful and optimistic, but sometimes rather naive.

Kagamine Rin/Len
Sister and Brother Vocaloids. Rin is the hothead of the bunch, and gets jealous easily. Len is always getting picked on by his sister and is easily discouraged.

Kaito
The original male Vocaloid. He is usually rather calm and doesn't really do much, but his obsession with sweets usually makes for interesting situations.

Meiko
The original female Vocaloid. She is a somewhat loud person, but she is usually a voice of reason. When she isn't drunk, that is.

Features
~Completely non-RTP tilesets~
~Vocaloid voice-overs~ Maybe not >.>
~Day and Night System~
~Vocaloid Music Performance System~

Final Notes
I'm still looking for the programs Vocaloid KAITO and Vocaloid MEIKO. If you can find me a place to purchase/download them, I would love you so much. If I can't find those, I'll fake Kaito and Meiko's voices with Vocaloid Prima and LEON.

That is all.

I hope you go far with this project. I like Vocaloid though I don't know a lot about it. Also nice screenshots, I really like your title screen  :)

Thanks for the comments. Although I think I've kinda decided to not do the voice-overs because...

Well, I've attached an example of what I can do in about 30 minutes. :-\ Vocaloid is meant for singing voices, not talking voices.

Also, I remembered how terrible Miku, Rin, Len, and all the other Japanese voices sound in English. D: Maybe I'll just make some custom songs for the game instead.

Note: The test voice is Vocaloid Prima (an English one) and she is trying to say "Welcome to the first test of the Vocal Voice-over System."

custom songs sound good, and voiceovers were never meant for RPG maker anyhow  :blizj:
