No text in my game at all.

I installed RPG maker 2000 with no,then the rtp.So I turn on the program,started up the sample game,and no text.Not in the menus,or the title screen.Help please.


EDIT:It appears as if I lack a fonts folder,how can I fix this?

A few things you can try:

Reinstall Rpgmaker & the RTP (It worked for me when I had that problem),

And if that doesn't work, then try getting the font patch here:http://www.crankeye.com/index.php?page=downloads

Another thing to try would be to install the fonts included within the rpg maker folder, just go to program files or wherever you installed your RPG maker, open up "fonts", then go to your computer's own fonts folder and install the fonts included accordingly.

Even if what sirius said works, this will fix any hard to read text, so you should probably do that anyways >.>

basically just delete the old fonts in the fonts folder, rm2000 and stuff and ms pmincho and gothic and replace it with the new fonts, it'll work. oh and don't forget to restart
