    • I have a .bin file and a .cue.  What do I do?  I have not encountered this filetype before, it is trying to open in my VLC media player, but that's not right.

    • .bin and .cue are like .iso files. You need to mount it in Daemon, or burn it to a disk. The .bin is the data from the disk, and the .cue is the "table of contents" that stores the information.

    • Burn it to a disk. Magic ISO is a program that burns .iso, .bin/.cue, .mdf/.mds files to disks. It's like having the game disk. You could use Daemon Tools, and mount it to that to play it right from the file. I like having things on disk though, so I usually burn them.

    • Get Daemon Tools.

    Right click on the icon in the system tray, go up to virtual CD/DVD ROM Go to Device 0. Select Mount. Select the .bin or the .cue file.

    It should come up automatically if auto play is on.
