Hello everyone.. Im just wondering if anyone can help me out with RPG Maker XP as Im somewhat new to it, but have been using the RPG Maker Games for years. I have a few questions that I have been really wondering about and if anyone has any insight into them I'd greatly appreciate it.

1. Is using the pre-made sets and characters that come with the game and then selling it ok? Im not sure about this one as I have not seen anything written on it.

2. Is there anyway to allow your character or event to move straight to some place on the map without having to use the Set Move Route command, as the inability for me to make the character move from some place at a random spot on the map to a specified sqare on the map is very, very limiting "For example say I want to make a earthquake and and the person say "Oh no! Let get out of here!" and move to the front of the town entrance.. IT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO WITHOUT SOMETHING TO SPECIFY AS A TARGET SOMEWHERE", but if there is a way... man I would really like to know..

3. Is there any possble way to have a character in your party controlled by the computer, IE. RPG Maker 2003 (AI Control) RPG Maker VX (Auto Battle).

Anyway to delete the sell button from a shop that I dont want to be able to sell (Ironically every other RPG Maker has all these options.

And one more thing.. is it possible for me to buy RPG Maker VX and combine its material into XP and still legally sell it? Or also RPG Maker 2003's graphics. (Im not to sure about this one).

Again thanks for any help you can offer on this, as these things are fairly crucial if Im to spend the next few months working on an RPG game.

1. No, this is illegal.

2. On page two of the event there should be a teleport command somewhere.

3 No idea. Look around for a script on other sites.

4. Scripts.

5. No and no.

1. Hmm, strange as from what I have read elsewhere that does not seem to be the case (Just thought I'd post it here to double check)

2. You have no ideal what Im talking about apparently (lol)

3. Thats ok, I didn't expect you to know.

4. Gotcha!

5. Righty O!  8)

Anyone else think they could offer a bit more of a reasonable response?

(P.S. I know I would most likely need to use scripts for some things, but what kind or in what manner is what I was inquiring about.)

Open the event.

Make a new event action.

Go to tab 2.

Top of the list, 'Transfer Player'.

Easy enough for teleportation.

Also, selling anything YOU have not made is illegal. It also violates the User Agreement.

Read the User Agreement. I can vouch for this

2. It may be possible with a script, but otherwise, you'd have to have an event on pretty much any square the player could possibly be standing on at the time of the earthquake. To make this easier, you could have most of the squares direct to a square, say, in the middle of the room, and from there activate a common event which takes the player the rest of the way.
