A question about making character

Hi. I am new about the program. I tried making character with spiting and it is different from the game characters. It has a background color how can i solve this problem thank for help.

"Spiting" ?, do you mean spriting? Either way, to add new resources, you need to open the resource editor and 'import' new characters and graphics and such. When you do that, you'll be given the option to set a color to fully transparent and semi transparent. Generally, you choose that nasty colored background as 'fully transparent' so that it doesn't show up in the game. Then any shadows you may have, you would set as 'semi transparent'.

That should fix it.
