I'm trying to get some money to buy Spore on the 7th, and I want to sell some used games, but I don't know what the best place to sell them at is. I want to most money I can get, obviously.

Games I'd like to sell:
Wii - Red Steel (with original case)
Wii - Godfather Blackhand Edition (with original case)
Wii - Mario Strikers Charged
Wii - Madden NFL 07 (with original case)
360 - Assassin's Creed (with original case)
NGC - The Sims 2
NGC - WWE Day of Reckoning 2 (with original case)
NGC - Dace Dace Revolution Mario Mix (with dance mat, box, and original game case)
NDS - Super Mario 64 DS (with original case)
NDS - Nintendogs Dachshund & Friends (with original case)
NDS - Zoo Tycoon DS (with original case)

How much money do you think I can get, and where's the best place to sell them? It can be a website, or preferably a store. :o

And I don't want to ship all of this.

Ask your mom for the money. [/thread]

My parents don't give me money like most parents.

I might be able to paint a fence for $300 but I'd like to get rid of these games.

We have a chain here called The Exchange. It's basically exactly what you're looking for. Do a google search for "game exchange, (your city)" or "pawn video games (your city)".

Irock

I can't find any place that specifically buys video games, but a place called 'Household Pawn' came up. Are Pawn shops actually good places to sell, or should I find a place that just buys games? ;o;

modern algebra

Pawn shops are terrible places to sell, unless you want to buy them back at some point and just need cash for the time being.

A lot of local video game stores will buy games back. Electronic Boutique does. I don't know where you live though, so I don't know what places are available.

I don't know, you could try GameStop. The one's around here advertise at least $15 per game.

You live (or lived) in a multi-million dollar home. I'm sure you can ask for the money. It's like 50 cents to them.

I lived with my mother's boyfriend for a few months in a house worth approximately $750,000. I don't any more. My mother can hardly afford to pay the bills each month. We're broke, m8. Even if we had money, I still wouldn't get money for nothing, since my parents aren't total morons who give their child everything. ::)

SOMEHOW I DOUBT THAT
It's hard to pay the bills when you don't have an income.

Irock, I wasn't suggesting selling at a pawn shop, but a lot of second-hand game and video stores are still classified in directories as pawn shops. Call the place and see what they buy, it might be worth it.

Video game specific stores normally won't give you a lot for your games, because they usually have multiple copies in stock. Also, a lot of them only give store credit these days.

Moss.

Do places like Gamestop still buy N64 games?

Cuz I have a TON of N64 games that I never play.

I think so, I have seen some floating around before.

I'd have to check. I figure they would, since...they don't make them anymore.
