Not sure what you'd call this.. Classical & Bass? It's basically a classical viola/cello part overlaid with breakbeats. Just a short little tune that I'll be working on here and there.

 Well, it certainly is hard to classify...I think the problem stems mostly from the bass and drums. With those in there, it almost makes it sound something reminiscent of Koudelka, and for anyone who's ever played that game, the reference is explanation enough, I think.
 Since you're going to be working on it some more, I would recommend that you keep the cello and remove the other tracks, replacing them with some sort of chorus or synth pad to give it a more ambient feel.
 Of course there's always the option of making it after the style of Yamaoka, in which case the drums could very possibly work.  But at this early stage, it's hard to tell.
