Enter hero name fix won't work

I downloaded the zip from a different site (the one here said the address was wrong) and replaced the rtp, but when I go to input the name it does nothing. Whats the deal?

If somone here has the hero fix from this site, would you please send it to me in a zip file?

The downloads on this site seem to be working now, but I just downloaded the Hero Name Fix and I am having the same problem as you - although I replaced the RPG_RT.exe file as specified, it still isn't working.

Problem solved. Go into the program files and into Ascii folder. Replace the rtp with the one you downloaded and it should work.

Ah, I realized what the problem was when you said to go into the folder - I was trying to replace the RTP file in the RPG2000 folder, not the actual project itself. Thanks for the help.

Yup, other than a slight bug it works. (When entering the name, it will only display the letters in sets of two, i.e. if you enter in an odd number of letters, it will show all but the last one. After the name has been entered, however, it displays properly everywhere else. Odd, but not a big deal.)

Well at least it's only minor flaw. Seeing as how this topic has been resovlved there's no need in continuing with posting in it.
