Scarecrows' Tale
Some people see the world in full color.
Some do not.
Scarecrows are part of the latter.
Through worlds away, a portal opened, and out came "magicians" who the community welcomed graciously into their arms. People lived a simpler life then.
There were 5 Magicians, each one had their own different spells. The ability to move things, the ability to start fires, but most importantly, the ability to animate nonliving objects. They lived for thousands of years, protecting the people from the harm that came from the worlds that they did. People knew that if the Magicians died, their world would be vulnerable. 600 years later, and there was one magician left, old and forgetful he was.The magician, Rastion, lived in the mountains far north of civilization. He spared his time farming, unaware that the people south of him were suffering and trying to defeat the endless stream of Earth Walkers that came at them. On his final days, Rastion wandered out into his garden unaware of where he was or who he was. He was holding the pendant that gave him his power, and he placed his hand on a scarecrow, to stop for a breath. The pendant activated, and the scarecrow came to life, gaining personality from the man. Rastion, remembering what the pendant was for and suddenly realizing that the world was in trouble, called the scarecrow Spaventapasseri, handed him the pendant and told him that in the tallest tower of the furthest south island there was a portal to close, and only the pendant could accomplish it.
The scarecrow set out, unknowing of what lay ahead of him.
This RMVX game features custom graphics, hand drawn by myself. As of now there are limited graphics done, and as I progress through development, more custom graphics will replace the RTP until I have as much as I can done, to where there is atleast 80% (roughly estimated to mathematical percentage) custom, 20% RTP. As of now I am still working on graphics before I start the game but I threw some together to make a ragtag map for display.
