wat is the diference between rmxp legal and illegal version?

Buy it, its like stealing it, but anyway...

The fake one is a pure translate from Jap, therefore its hard to understand, its a bit buggy I found (But not like 10), and the scripts are in Jap.

Um I like the Illegal translation better it simplfies it...instead of saying player transport(legal) it say teleport...and the script are in english in the legal version. and thats about it

Plus when you make something with the official rpgmaker it is automaticaly copyright, just like when u create a peice of music on a program.

it has as much copyrightness on the legal as in the illegal version, you can just as easy say you made it in the legal version and no one will ever be able to tell whats more, if you make "music in a program" and a year later some singer say he wrote that music, even if assuming you did it first, no one will ever believe that you wrote it.
and even if he/she stole it, everyone will believe it's theirs and not yours so copyrights just by making it in a legal version is a sick fairytale...

1. well the translated version was made based on a free version that was made before the updated one and thus it's perfectly legal if you'll ask me.
2. the p.knights translating is by far better and easier to understand (even though it's not correct, big woop.)
3. yay green lines with english writings, if you can script you don't need those few lines to understand and it probably won't help you bit.
if you can't script, it won't help you cause you won't understand anyways.
4. help file... you actually put the thing no one reads as a good point? beside it's easy enough to understand without the help file.
5. can't argue with that xcluding what i said in 1
6. feels worse in the pocket, doesn't make me feel any change, working for what you can get for free is stupid and enterbrain shouldn't have allowed free dling at any point anyways
7. i still didn't spot a single bug in p.knights, care to point?
8. never tried but it doesn't seem like p.knights need any improvement..
9. i don't know whats the update so i don't know, but the one in the illegal is just fine for me.

and those are the reasons of why not to waste money on a legal version when you can dl an illegal, better version.

I know it's wrong, but I agree with blueXx. If I can downoad a peice of software for free I'm supposed to pay for, I'll just download it. If I can't find an illegal version and have no choice but to buy it, I'll probably just not use it.

I have easily over 1000 pounds worth of software on my machine. And I haven't paid a penny for any of it.

Actualy it is automaticly copywrited.

The Translated scripts help A LOT.

And...

The help file actualy goes IN-Depth into how to program, as well as how each and every one of the scripts in the editor work. Including their sub-classes.

so say square-enix suddenly decide to act stupid and they steal a game you made and claim it to their own and for some twisted reason decide to even publish the game, do you really think anyone will believe that YOU made the game that square-enix claimed to have made?
i think not.

as for the scripts and help file, i am more than sure those can be found easily if around the internet, scripts are like 200kb and help file even less, i won't be shocked if they even come like that with the demo which means copy+paste=fun

here is a nice file you might find handy, simply replace the scripts file in it with yours when you make a new game or in your old game if you don't mind losing script changes, and the help file is there too:

let's put it this way- if it was legal to download it(for over the 1 month demo) then p.knights would have been legal just as much and there were only legal versions and we wouldn't be talking about it.

if you want your version to be legal simply pay 60$ for what you can get free
